CoE Statement
Centre of Excellence on Rechargeable Battery Technology (Pre-cell) is a Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India initiative (since 2019) for catering to the industrial R&D needs (material, machine, process) of advanced chemistry cell manufacturing by SME sector in India. The CoE envisages to provide economically viable technology base, manpower training, and market analysis for commercialisation primarily through SME start-ups.
